The Cape has hundreds of arts organizations and businesses, ranging in size from small galleries to the Cape Symphony Orchestra. There are opportunities to get involved through performing, volunteering or classes.
The local newspaper calendar sections list performances and auditions. The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod is the state-designated arts agency on the Cape and can provide information about events and local organizations.

Are there any ACTIVE senior centers in the area of Buzzards Bay, Wareham or Bourne ( before the bridge onto the cape )where an older isolated, senior might find a walking partner or some activities that would help engage her and help with her deteriating health problems? Any suggestions would be enormously helpful. Thanks.

    • Hi Annette

If you are looking “off Cape”, I would go to your local Senior Center (Council on Aging) and start there. You will find them quite helpful. If you live in Wareham, just click here and it will take you to their site.
If you are in Bourne, check here.

All Cape Cod Senior Centers are listed here.
      I hope this is helpful.
